President NC Minority Cell and MLC Vijay Bakaya visited Kailash Vihar, Kotian Netar, Buta Nagar and Muthi TRT to ascertain the problems of the inmates there.
He was accompanied by M K Yogi working president of the Cell. On the occasion president of Kailash Vihar Welfare Committee, A K Bhat, appealed Bakaya for sanctioning funds for the pending development works in the area from his CDF. He said already Mr Bakaya has taken keen interest in the development of the colony by allotting funds from his CDF.
He also demanded installation of transformer at Netar Kotian. Addressing the gathering M K Yogi appealed the migrants to strengthen the Cell. He also appealed Mr Bakaya to take up the issue regarding implementation of PM’s package in letter and spirit with Government.
At TRT Muthi, Mr Bakaya handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 to the family whose entire house hold goods were damaged in fire recently.
Mr Bakaya urged the authorities to redress the water scarcity problem at Buta Nagar TRT. He also assured the people sitting on dharna that he will take up the issue regarding enhancement of cash relief with higher ups in Government.
Later a delegation of the Cell called on Relief Commissioner, R K Pandita and apprised him of the problems. It demanded allotment of quarters for retired migrant police personnel at Jagti. Karan Choudhary another leader of the Cell demanded rehabilitation of migrant industrialists.
