Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great pomp and show at various places of Jammu region with people thronging temples of Lord Hanuman, offering prayers and paying their obeisance.
Langars and bhandaras were organized at almost all temples of Bajrang Bali.
At Prachin Mandir of Lord Hanuman ji at Moti Bazaar in Jammu City, people started thronging the temple to offer prayers.
Management committee of the temple has organized a ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ at 9 pm tomorrow, the committee spokesman, Rajiv Gupta said. He added that a ‘vishal bhandara’ would be organized at 12 noon on Sunday outside the temple premises.
Reports of Hanuman Jayanti celebrations were also received from various places across Jammu region, Temples of Lord Hanuman had been beautifully decorated at various places.
Devotees started visiting temples right in the morning and the process continued till late tonight.
People offered ‘ladoos’ to idols of Lord Hanuman ji in the temples.
