Three-day Sudhmahadev Cultural pageant was organised at Higher Secondary faculty, Sudhmahadev, by Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, Janipur in shut cooperation with the District administration, Udhampur, Youth and Sports Department and Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu.
The mela was inaugurated by Mela Officers, SN Summan whereas Duggar Rattan Awardee Haji Ghulam Mohd Dansalia and Prof Bhim Singh were the guests of honour.
Over fifty thousand devotees when darshan enjoyed the Cultural pageant. people Troupes of Jammu region like Kalo Devi and party, Ram Ditta and party and lots of others presented people cultural Bonaza like Geetru, Baran, Pakha and people dances of India, that attracted an outsized range of audience and appreciated by everyone.
Renowned artists of Radio and Doordarshan like Haji Ghulam Mohd, Usha Handoo, Neelam Gandotra, Sanjeev, Kamli and lots of others with their spell certain performances won the hearts of the audience.
Earlier, whereas presenting the welcome address, Dogra said the most aim of the pageant is to make awareness among the plenty to preserve the cultural heritage of the State.
