A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee Sector one, Sector three and adjoining areas referred to as on Minister of PHE, Irrigation and Flood management Taj Mohi-ud-_Din and apprised him of the water scarcity drawback in entire Durga Nagar and Roop Nagar.
The delegation informed the Minister that for last 3 months these localities were facing the acute water scarcity. It demanded that water provide to Muthi Sump be continued for 5 hours, 630 kv transformer be put in at Muthi to form OHT practical, 5 hours water provide be provided to Muthi and 5 hours to OHT Durga Nagar and a stand by motor be kept at Durga Nagar tube well, regular power provide to MU eight Line and 4 tiny tankers be provided to PHE Mechanical Department town Division Jammu to beat the crisis throughout the mechanical and electrical fault.
The delegation additional demanded renovation of previous Sump at an earliest.
The Minister asked the Chief Engineer PHE who was conjointly gift within the meeting to appear into these issues and do the needful action.
