About 19723 candidates appeared in the CET-2011 conducted by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination across the State.
The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination successfully conducted the CET-2011 at 35 centres across the State in which record number of 19723 candidates appeared simultaneously at Srinagar and Jammu divisions.
According to press note issued here by BOPEE, about 8983 candidates appeared at 19 centres in Jammu while 10740 candidates at 16 centres in Srinagar. The attendance at both the divisions was recorded 99.25 per cent, an increase of 23 per cent over last year’s CET-2010.
Prof M A Peer said that BOPEE has conducted the CET with its commitment to total transparency in the conduction of examination. To achieve distinction of being the only Board across the country, the BOPEE has put the answer key on its official website besides giving carbon copy of answer sheet to the appearing candidates.
The CET-2011 was held under the supervision of Prof M A Peer (Chairman) and co-ordinated by Prof Gopal Gupta, Controller of Examination.
