Fifteen days Educational Tour organized by Rashtriya Riffles under the aegis of Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) concluded today. In the educational tour 25 students from far flung border areas of Rajouri and Reasi along with two teachers participated.
During the tour, the children were taken to Kolkata, Siliguri, Kalimpong and Darjeeling. The children got the life time opportunity to interact with the senior Army officers and Civil Administration. Children also visited Victoria Memorial, Science City, Birla Planetorium, Zoological Garden, Hong Kong Market, Hanuman Tok, Enchey Monastery, Cactus Nursery, Silk Manufacturing Plant, Art Gallery, St Pauls School and also had a fun ride on Toy Train.
Parents expressed their gratitude to the Army for giving life time opportunity to their children to see other parts of the country.
