Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla these days said that the govt has earmarked Rs. 2.5 crore for augmentation of drinking water facilities at Bhawani Vihar and Basant Vihar localities, adding that the deep drill tube well is nearing completion, whereas the work of laying of water provide pipes within the uncovered areas would be completed inside a week's time.

Mr. Bhalla said for providing all infrastructural facilities and speedy development of each corner of the Bhawani Vihar and Basant Vihar, the govt has brought the areas beneath Municipal limit. He said Government was committed to supply all basic amenities to the inhabitants of each the localities like safe drinking water, regular power provide, education, healthcare, road connectivity, besides higher lanes and drains.
