President State Panthers Party and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia condemned the Congress led UPA Government for discrimination with Jammu region, which is very evident from recent advertisements of Bank Jobs where the domiciles of only Kashmir region have been given age relaxation.
Addressing a large gathering at Paloura, Mankotia said discriminatory policies against Jammu region have been continuing under Congress-National Conference alliance Government and it is imperative that Panthers Party is strengthened to safeguard the interests of the common masses.
"The allocation for the Mansar-Surinsar lakes, roads, lesser number of wards/committees and districts are a few examples to quote", Mankotia said adding that Panthers Party has been constantly raising the issues of the people of Jammu but it needs further support of the people.
He urged the people to support the Party in the upcoming Local Body elections so that people of Jammu region could get their due share in the socio-political developmental activities being undertaken in the State.
State general secretary, NPP, HC Jamleria and provincial vice-president, Mohinderpal Singh Pandu said National Panthers Party is the only political formation, which has been fighting for the cause of common masses. They said the people should reject the Kashmir and Delhi based parties, which have neglected Jammu for last more than sixty years and vote for the NPP in the upcoming local body elections.
