Second cut off list issued in City Colleges

The City Government Degree Colleges affiliated to University of Jammu (JU) today issued their second cut-off list for admission to BA/BSc/BCom Part-I.

The Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar today morning issued its second cut-off list. The higher minimum percentage of marks required to get admission in Biotechnology course was 82.47 per cent in second cut-off merit list.

For those who have 61.80 per cent would be eligible to take admission in medical stream while the cut-off of non-medical stream was 54.07 per cent.

For Food Science Degree course, the minimum percentage required to take admission for candidates was 63.73 per cent.

For Geography and Statistics in both Science and Arts stream respectively, the minimum cut off merit went to 69.07 per cent and 59.32 per cent respectively.

In Arts stream, the cut off for Psychology was 54 per cent, while in Philosophy, it was 50 per cent. For those who were seeking admission in any other combinations in Arts stream, the minimum percentage was 36.50 per cent.

At Government College for Women, Parade, the second cut-off for medical stream was 56 per cent whereas for non-medical, it was 55 per cent.

In arts streams, it was further went down to 44 per cent while for commerce stream, students having 61.4 per cent would be eligible to take admission.  ( J&k Cet Results 2011)

In the MAM PG College, the minimum second cut-off list for arts stream students was 40.60 per cent while for Science stream, it was 45.20 per cent.

At Government SPMR College of Commerce, the minimum marks required to take admission in Commerce stream for boys was 50 per cent while for girls it was 47 per cent.
