Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, was at his melodious best as he sang as well as danced to the tunes during a musical programme held in connection with the inauguration of Pahalgam golf course on Saturday night.
The Union Minister was joined by the golfers and tourists coming from different parts of the country as well as abroad and the event turned out to be a memorable one. The programme was organized by the Tourism Department and Space Communications acted as the event manager for it.
Dr. Abdullah could not resist the temptation as the artists were performing their items on this occasion. He took a microphone in his hand and sang some songs while receiving applauds from the people present there. He also danced to the tunes of some songs and this encouraged some others to join him.
The performance of the former Chief Minister was liked by the people present during the function and they clapped him for his artistic skills. As he was busy in his performance the artists were spell bound and they also watched him with keen interest. No one could stop clapping when the Union Minister danced to his joy while performing on a song.
Dr. Abdullah sang some Kashmiri songs and with his voice mesmerized the golfers as well as tourists present on this occasion. He asked the musicians to play fast track and on the same he danced to his joy. He thanked the organizers for giving him a chance to showcase his 'talent'.
Sharing his views the Union Minister said that music is his life and nobody can stop him in presenting these skills to the others. He said music bonds people and all the differences can be resolved with the help of music
