The much awaited Holla Mohalla festival was celebrated with great pomp and show in Tapoasthan Gurdwara Manji Sahib UNA, Mairi (HP).
Lakhs of people from all over the country and abroad which included UK, USA, Canada, Russia, Australia, France, Germany attended the function, to be a part of this memorable moment and seek blessings of Guru Sahibans.
It looked like a family moment where people of different castes, creed were seen immersed in Naam Shabad as per the Rehat Nama of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
The enthusiasm of performing Nishan Sahib Sewa Ceremony could be seen on the face of each and devotees who were seen flocking around like bees around honey. On the occasion the President Intzamia Committee Dr. Sant Singh announced the future plan of construction of five storeyed Sarai where about 15,000 Sangat is expected to stay free of cost and free parking of the vehicles will be available.
Sant Baba Swarnjit Singh, the Pramukh Sewadar Manji Sahib made every person spell bound with his ‘Jaikaras’ in praise of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahibji Maharaj. Baba Ji carried the whole function as per the Rehat Naama of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The Tapoasthan Manji Sahib looked like a pious glowing light amidst the darkness of midnight by the pious Vani of Guru Sahibans sung by Sant Baba Swarnjit Singh. Devotees played Holi with Baba Ji with full zeal and Sangat left no stone unturned of drowning Baba ji in multiple colours.
The whole function was conducted smoothly by the day and night dedicated efforts of the President Intzamia Committee Dr. Sant Singh, Executive Member S. Kuljeet Singh Sodhi and Er. Paramjit Singh. The Darshan was made easy and comfortable by their proper management. Presently also movement of thousands of Sangat is going on and Guru Ka Langar is available for 24 hours.
