Dilshad Shazi's Kashmiri play "Fareb" was performed today by Nav Durga Kala Manch in the Friday Theater series at Performing Art Studio.
It was a second presentation of a Kashmiri play that was performed by NDKM. The play 'Fareb' is based on the psychology expressed through five different enactments.
Dilshad Shazi who had written the act enacted five different roles of a common man, an insane man, a husband, a lawyer and a victim, which were highly appreciated by the audience present on the occasion.
Based on the split persona of an individual, the theme of the sole act was different shades forced upon human beings to live in contemporary scenario. The actor performed a chequered version of the spilt human traits and transits from one plane to another while enacting five different characters of a common man, a lunatic, a victim, a lawyer and a husband.
The episode written, conceptualized performed by Dilshad Shazi as 'Fareeb' was an inspirational legitimacy attached to current human psyche that is broken in different shades while the actual human being feels gagged within.
